I'm surprised Zim wasn't deactivated or sent to Moo Ping 10 sooner and was just demoted to Food Service Drone, very lucky.

It ends with Dib using his ship and saving the Meekrobs, and they make him their King or something)

I mean, to be fair, don't you WANT an invader to excel at destruction? Literally all they have to do is drop him off on other planets and wait for the inevitable surrender. That's like being the only nation with a nuke. No one can match Zim's level of destruction and no one can truly stop him except for the Tallest. Sure, maybe you can slow him down, but killing him is almost impossible and he won't stop until he's either dead or his Tallest tell him that his missions complete. Plus then he uses up his destructive energy on other people instead of the Irken empire, so when he comes back he's less likely to deliberately explode anything. Zim is terrifying, sure. But isn't that the point? Don't you want to be feared?
