A thought on the sniper rifle; I heard once that - during the development of dedicated sniper teams in the Vietnam war - one doctrine they settled on was ‘3 shots, then reposition.’ The way the Sniper rifle works seems to fit this mentality, since it only gives 3 bursts before needing to reload.

I like the little text that appears above the images. Gives life to a somewhat lifeless military briefing. I think a slight radio voice filter would make it a little cooler. I knew something was up with meridia!

As it stands I have noise reduction, some overdrive, and reverb on top of my standard voiceover mixing. My fear with adding more effects is that it turns out being too much.

Although, I have missed the attack due to (sleep), I have quickly checked on the Meridian black hole, and have found that it seems to be becoming worse and worse. I believe we can expect things worth everything we can throw at it are coming. SES Courier of Supremacy reporting in. We would like to thank the Helgan R&D with the new weapons (even if we have to pay a pretty penny. Although the Plasma Sniper needs to get some use to (snipers should be single shots damn it!), the StA-52 & StA-11 are nicely designed for the Illuminate threat. Very well rounded and big enough drum magazines to tackle everything. The only complaint for both is that I can't equip my 4x Super Scope as it only accepts Ståhl Arms certified mounts. I hope those calamari's won't reach to Meridia. The next thing we need to worry about is some squid-bugs bursting out of the black hole... OOC: Nicely done GW, can't wait to see the next briefing. Makes me wish for a Helldiver sequel but ship to ship combat.
