I’m not even necessarily all that upset with the scaling. I think it’s fair enough. It’s just that I seem to remember Bardock being able to scale to Star Level as well. Also, it’s a bit hard to see because they scaled Bardock to a guy who seems to effortlessly destroy multiple planets with the wave of his hand. I get that the Omni-Man feat is technically more impressive, but I just feel like if he can easily do it with the wave of his hand he’s probably a lot stronger than that, but idk. I’m also not entirely sure how Omni-Man being able to survive the sun disc destroying machine means he’s as strong as the weapon. Wouldn’t that only apply to durability? Is there anything that implies Omni-Man can also match its power? Idk I have a lot of questions, but yeah, still cool that Death Battle is back. The analysis and animation were pretty entertaining.

@@SithfruitWatermelon It's not "technically more impressive" at all. The calc is entirely incorrect, especially with them assuming the pieces of the sun disk got blown off at 94% the speed of light. Like wtf? That number came out of nowhere. And why do they assume that the sun disk had to be half the size of the sun? That's WAY bigger than necessary considering the distance it was from the Ragnar planet. Itd only need to be closer to one TENTH of the sun's size than one HALF.

@@yekkub9425 I was talking about when they compared the Viltrumites destroying a planet to King Vegeta destroying multiple. They put the Viltrumite feat a bit higher. Also, I’m going off of the assumption that the calculations are correct, but maybe they’re not idk.

⁠@@SithfruitWatermelon I get where you’re coming from, but think of it this way. Every time a Viltrumite gets closer to death, they get stronger. And if the ship wasn’t strong enough to harm Viltrumites, it must mean Omni-Man grew as strong as the ship’s firepower. They go into further detail in the podcast, so I recommend watching that if you wanna understand their thought process.

Even tho there's still ways to kill him without effecting his soul, but people always overlook that. And if they messed up THIS verdict it wouldn't surprise me if they say "Shigaraki has no way of ending Mahito, but Mahito can end Shigaraki".

@dartvader6278 so long as they're right by their own logic. Does Omni Man being massively above planetary make sense in his narrative? No, but neither does Bardock being multiple quintillions of times the speed of light. Using outlire feats is better than headcanoning a weakness for a character like for Hulk in Hulk vs Doomsday. Overall, I really liked the episode. That shot of Super Saiyan Bardock super speed punching omni man goes super hard.

@@TheCustodians I should've added that they got it wrong for both Characters. 😅 ( unless we take everything from the Z anime as canon ) They used a filler episode for Bardock speed feat. 😭 But him being on par with King Vegeta puts him in the Star level range with combat and reaction speed being ( Relativistic+ to FTL for base Bardock ). I know a lot of people like to scale Omai-man and other invincible characters combat speed to their travel speed, but there's lot of anti feats for that. his AP scaling.......... well, let's say that Viltrum feat has been calced a lot of times already. 😅

@@TheCustodians the thing is bardocks being that strong isn't an outlier. The dragon ball super manga recently confirmed bardocks was the strongest saiyan on vegeta but hid his power to not cause conflict. He is the reason that the main villain of the recent manga arc went nuts. It's because when gas aka the villain was young he wanted to go to mop the floor with elite saiyans because he was alot stronger than them and ended up confronting bardock who not only drove gas to full power but beat him which caused gas to go in hiding and train to become stronger.

They literally said that Bardock was already faster than him, so he already had it won since it was the fight of a snail against a cheetah. Although strength is very debatable, I think Bardock did deserve to win since here they only put Bardock with 10,000. When in the OVA of Bardock he is a super saiyan, he was stronger since he came from a zenkai.

IF we go by what Death Battle gives us, then at a certain point someone is just too strong for speed to be the deciding factor. When one thing is an immovable object get the other is not an unstoppable force, the immovable object tends to take it

@@Quillion-lq4bx It's not entirely true, Omniman, I need help to destroy a planet, and more. Bardock came from a zenkai in the OVA. Bardock is a super saiyan since he recovered from all the injuries he had.

@@migueljavierrios7755 It depends on how big the Zenkai is and how exactly that would be calculated. There are numerous theories on Zenkai boost. Some say it prepares the body to take on the at present time strongest power level you can feel, hence Goku's 3,000,000 in response to final form Frieza at like 1 percent of his full power. In Bardock's case, the strongest power level would have been Frieza's 530,000 first form since you cannot account for power levels not shown within the area of a Saiyan. If it could, then by this logic Goku's Zenkai would have been greater to account for the power final form Frieza was not using before Goku was healed. In this case, I'd say at most Bardock would be 1,000,000 a third of what Goku would reach on Namek. Another theory is that Zenkai become more drastic the stronger your own power level. In this case Bardock's power level is 10,000 compared to Goku's body being capable of 90,000 in base. This would mean a far less impressive Zenkai. Of course, there is something to be said of just how narrowly Bardock escaped death; however, Goku and Vegeta, throughout the countless times they've been on the brink of death, would have faced at least similar Zenkai boost.

@@Mountainlion118 Talking strictly the video's research. Omni-man is said to be 11,000 times stronger than base Bardock. Great Ape and Super Saiyan do not stack unless you use Golden Ozaru, which the continuity they use shows Bardock can't do that. This means at this Bardock's strongest he gets a fifty time boost. He is fifty times stronger than his base, so the Nolan here would still be roughly 10,550 times stronger than this super Saiyan Bardock.
