Brody is an absolute weapon. My favorite drummer of the night, and that was NO easy feat with this lineup of drummers on this tour. Brody is the drummer IA always deserved. Trey is an irreplaceable asset to the writing of guitar and drum parts for the band, but Brody performs at an entirely different level than even the best of drummers. He’s a machine. I REALLY hope he becomes a permanent member of the band, or at least permanent touring drummer.

@@Graey no triggers with IA. I just tune the kick super low & try & kick hard. Drew Sullivan was doing FOH on this run. Just takes a lot of high end & compression. If the kick is tuned right & mixed properly you can totally get away with not using triggers. I did a tour with a band called Alluvial however, & triggered the kick with them. I used a Dan Presland kick sample for that tour. We blended it w/ the natural kick too.
