I actually cant believe the inventor of this actually pitched it on DD. I fitted my bathtub as a DIYer for the first time and everything he said about building a wood frame etc was exactly right. Its frustrating and on top of this I dont believe wood and bathrooms go well together as the wood strength is dependent on the water proofing of the tub surround. I actually purchased this and it was as easy as IKEA furniture. One thing he should of mentioned was that it does not rust and is reuseable when ever a new tub needs to be refitted. I can also see that RAWPLUG has bought in to it so good for him.

Debra rarely makes a deal, especially when she's by herself. And to Jenny's point, Jenny said, the cost differential between the traditional product and his product is minimal. She didn't figure in the potential 1.5-2.5 hours of labor between the two products. Also, even if the product doesn't make a significant dent in the overall cost-savings of a company, the fact that it saves time for a similar-priced product would be a good selling point.
@darklordojeda3 жыл бұрын
Imagine the time save in pre-fab homes or these cookie cutter condos going up all over the place. Maybe 2 hours doesn't seem much when looking at 1 house but when lots of 100+ homes are popping up that 200+ hours of labor reduces drastically and puts them on or ahead of schedule.

Fun fact, even the nail polish Jenny had on here in this episode was from a Free Sample bottle she received from another pitch and episode.

A joiner would knock a bath frame up in half an hour to an hour.

But why would you call a joiner and plumber at the same time they are 2 separate fields.
5 жыл бұрын
Mohamed Rahman ok well a plumber wouldn’t get a joiner in just for that, he would knock it up himself and if he’s experienced still in under an hour.

This is not joinery a builder or any trade can put a frame together unless than an hour

Are you 12 years old? Or do you just think and act like you are still 12? Do you plan on spamming every comments section by vomiting up the usual tired old two lines of repititive, irrelevant, idiotic nonsense, jokes and memes to fish for likes and attention? Have you ever made an effort to engage in thoughtful, intelligent and mature commentary? I guess not. It would remind you of your English homework and you would not be capable of it anyway. Sad. Your life must be pretty depressing and meaningless.

jenny said 30 mins to install steel instead of a few hour for timber is the same cost ratio.. but wood rots quick under bathtubs whereas steel will take probably 100 years until it needs replacing

Seems like he wants the money has decent product but doesn't want to work for it. If he'd approached people, doesn't have a website or done trade shows to get it out there he could've been way further on by that point. Deborah was quite right making that offer she would be the one doing most of work & building the business. Shame the deal never went through wonder why?
