i can see how you made the sketch, using the cross over point of the coil and the first revolved piece to make the sweep path way for the first tube, but i cant figure out how you knew how to do this

The reason this is so fast is because this video was created for a contest Autodesk was having. He had to speed the video up to fit inside a five minute window to qualify. FYI this won third place overall!!
