DANG!!! I am trying to become a piper... 7 years to make a piper, my butt... going on 5 now and still don't feel close... But, I do LOVE watching when the snares find their groove, and know they are in it. Just a great set, awesome to hear, and fun to watch!

Excellent 'dronechorus' I thoroughly enjoyed it. I now live on the sou-west shores of Nova Scotia, Canada where there are lots of descendants of our Scottish clans who were 'shipped out' over the centuries. One family I met are Cunningham's FROM Inveraray and you can be sure I'll be 'Sharing' your video with them, thank you for taking the effort to share good music to Scots around the world.

What, you don't think Mr. Dronechorus is trying to share good music with Italians too? Other countries love Scottish music besides Scotland; don't be so ethnocentric... (Jk, I totally know what you mean; Dronechorus is an excellent channel for lovers of good bagpipe music, no matter what their ethnicity... My mom is Scots, my dad is Italian, and I'm 100% Yank; my Italian grandparents visited Nova Scotia and even toured the Gaelic college there... They tried to learn some Gaelic words; if you've ever heard someone try to speak Gaelic with an Italian accent, you'll know how much we all laughed... Small world, eh? ✌)

great video and sound. thanks for posting ! Did you manage to film SFU performance for the british championships ?
@dronechorus7 жыл бұрын
Hi Sébastien Thanks for your comment. I'm afraid I am not planning uploading any more videos from Paisley. I did upload eight and this was as many as I could in the time available. SFU is under represented on this channel and I hope to redress the balance in due course. Best wishes.

Bad blowing on the 'b's in the first part too. Someone relaxed.

having listened to them playing this medley another time, the same sound of someone leaving the slow air was heard. maybe it was intentional idk though

Their opener's a bit Strathclydey, isn't it? It's quite pointed and deliberate; not sure this tune is best served up this way. Definitely's not the way the 78th F.H. played it in their Megantic Outlaw concert.
