Inverness Eastgate Centre animated clock full 12 pm routine

This is the big clock in the Eastgate centre in Inverness, as loved by my little daughter. To this end, I was compelled to take her into to see and record the entire 12 o'clock show, so that she could watch it over and over again (and she does!).

I need to go back to Inverness sometime to see this as this clock was made by the same company that made the clock in the Wellgate centre in Dundee which also does a full performance at 12

i'm 40 now and always try and get to see the clock when i'm over. used to watch this with my Granny so many memories. now I watch it with my kids and hopefully they will still be able to do the same with there kids. thank you so much for sharing. and i'm From the Isle of Lewis just across the water. i'v watch this clip a few times now lol

I used to bide in Evanton until 2001 and every time I was in Inverness I just had to look at this magnificent clock which in it's own way holds as much charm as Big Ben.

Fantastic! I used to live near Inverness and would see this clock whenever we did the monthly shop when I was about 4/5 30 years later I still havent managed to get back to see it. I'm glad it's still around!

It looks really similar to the wellgate clock in Dundee, it was maybe made by the same designer

It may be, it been there for decades. I used to line in Dundee, but I can't recall the clock.

Aw I loved being able to watch this again! Thank you for sharing! I am nearly 35 and I absolutely adored this clock as a wee girl! Still has the same effect watching the video today! Must go the Eastgate next time I am home :-) x

Well I’m 20 and my dads 40 and he remembers it when he was younger so I’m guessing at least 30 years old

Installed 1983 according to the Mall’s Website. It’s around 41 years old.
