This is like the timing when you write a swing set has a child except the top of it is moving. Thanks a million, for being a hub where information can pass between Pilots.

You are the coolest dude in South America! The video sent to you, the person would lose the momentum gain; thus having to start over again. I have seen a guy fall into his Wing and drop like a bomb. The reserve came out to late and he was low. Bad decision and horrible choices. The guy got banged out pretty badly. Your advice was spot on. I’m in the Kiting phase of flying. Waiting for a good day to take out the wing to kite. Today the wind was 20MPH. To strong for a novice like me. I enjoy the air, but Wing Overs and Transversing is beyond my desire to do. I enjoy your vid very much on this subject. May God protect and bless you! Thank you for sharing this vid. Praise Him!

Thanks for putting this on here I thought for my flying style I would start out with just learning to weight shift and not use the brakes very much. Thanks for sending this because I'm flying epsilon 9 and it looks like the side of a barn coming through the sky. I'm going to put my risers as far apart as my harness will let me.

I like you're flying theory I'm learning out of ground handle right now and I thought I would do as much steering with my weight shift as I could and avoid using my breaks so that I wouldn't have pilot error. I'm not sure I want to start out flying inverted is a beginner but this is an interesting video.

The beginner analysis is really nice. It would be cool to see several analysis mixed, i.e, if here the beginner is not doing weight shift aggressively and early enough, then I would like to see next to it someone who does it too aggressively, and then someone who does it more on time, so that I get a feel of what is the right balance.

How do you like flying with ‘free’ brakes? Do you, or can you do a tutorial on free braking vs lined (pullied) brakes? That would be great as a novice pilot ☺️ Thanks Max ✌️

Thanks for the good tips - just learning it properly and I had a small collapse at the high wingtip. I'll try to improve my weightshifting and not lean to the other side to late. I was also flying with skis on so that might have changed the behavior somehow.Great videos - keep on going!

Great tips in this one Max. Never herd of loosening harness waist strap to increase weight shift, but totally makes sense. will defiantly try playing with that next time I fly. Thanks
@MaxMartini227 жыл бұрын
Glad you enjoy it! so when you close your chest/waist strap dampen the movement of your wing but increase the risk of getting twisted, when you open it gets more difficult to twist and you can weightshift more effectively, the wing feels more direct. The proper adjustment is is the distance between your elbow and your fist, which is about 45-48 cm as in the EN/LTF certification. Good luck practicing, fly safe!

Max Martini thanks, I'll set it up the way you said and see how it feels. Your videos and advice are much appreciated. Fly safe and have fun :)

Man as always your video: GREAT JOB!!..But, please can you explain it better what do you mean when you say:"I think it the glider collapse above it's to late if it collapses on the tip beneath then it's to soon"? So..can you show me a picture of each situation and explain what's kinde of collaps I'll see when I wrong my timing. Thank's Bro!! you are the best!

Cristian Montero let's suppose you weightshifted, you swing under the wing, you are reaching the top of the other side, time to weightshift again but you are too late the wing will collapse the tip on top like the pictures i showed.... I don't have vídeo of that anymore 😒
