@42:32 I am super proud of my entry. I wanted to make every visible feature tell a story. And I felt like I achieved it. I am impressed with how many participants are continually upping their game. Getting 4th by .01 hurts my soul, I literally lost by 1 point. But I will continue to try to burn Mekkit and Mamarillas to the ground.

Really good entries, it was super hard to choose whose better the more entries you looked at. My entry is at 16:22, and I can clearly see that I have a lot to improve in future contests. In my defense though, regarding the windows, I am forced to use the corner pieces of the medival style, because if I interlock two separate walls in a corner they will glitch and look really weird. The corner pieces don't have windows, that's why my buildings lacked those. :/ Thanks for the great video, as always, Deurklink! // Trumavarium

One thing I do with those sloped mine roofs is actually just not fill the hole and instead just place a flat wood or corrugated metal block underneath. Due to how the game renders things you can't really tell that the gap is even there.

I have played parkitect a bit, but I never really got into it. I do like the bigger range of ride elements compared to rct2. I haven't touched planet coaster yet.

@@Deurklink I just ask because i own both but not sure which I enjoy more. Planet is obviously a gorgeous game but the level of detail and micro managing that comes with buildings can be overwhelming. Parkitect is fun but I'd didn't seem to hook me like rollercoaster tycoon did back in the day. Maybe I'll grab tycoon and give the open source a shot

12:19 I had fun with my first coaster. It was tricky trying to make it work after building about half of it and then realizing I couldn't get the inverted coaster to respond to boosters. I was hoping this would be a good opportunity to give boosters a try since they're back in the game - maybe I can use them another time. Proton Peak Forever.

I haven't tried the open source mod yet. Are their a lot of mods/add ons? This game was my teen years. I probably played this game more than any other game ever.
