Thanks for the comparison. For all night operation with a smaller unit I would find something with auto switchover between fuels. Start with propane and if that runs out, gasoline is ready to take over. You could also parallel two propane tanks. iapower has several models with these features

For the rough idol, Take out the torch spark plug and use a NGK.

What was your guesstimate on the Genmax running time and watts before running out of gas. Curious how long a 20lb propane cylinder would run under the same load. Ty

Based on the math that Genmax provided on Amazon, it should last about 12 hours at 50% load. I haven't had a chance to test it myself as my propane tanks were not topped off and wouldn't provide a great test scenario. I will give it a test this weekend and you can look forward to a video outlining that runtime next week :)

For camping, The Genmax is lighter. The Wen is $250 cheaper on Amazon and parts are easy to get.

This is all true, the Wen seems quieter too, but after tests they are very close.
