That obviously didn’t happen when we actually got Ernesto as it hit Bermuda instead as a much weaker hurricane. It’s things like this why nothing weather related should be trusted more than a week in advance.

Arapahoe Basin Ski Area, Colorado which is just below a mountain ridge of the Continental Divide had dusting of snow on the higher elevations of this Ski Area Wednesday night to Thursday morning. They usually don't see this until mid October. This Ski Area from what I read over the years opens up for snow skiing 8 out 10 times the first for skiing in the entire United States. The base area is over 10,000 feet and the highest elevation is over 12,000 feet.
