Thank you for the information. I am a foreigner who has a US LLC and the advice i was given is to steer clear of "US sourced income", because thats when you start to trigger more filing and tax liabilities in the US. Can I take from this video that it isn't true in the case of investing, so long as there is no "dividends" being paid?

Thank you so much for all the valuable info you share here on KZbin James. I am a non-US person. I have two kids on the way, and I want to gift them some funds when they are born, to be investment on Interactive Brokers. Unfortunately, Interactive Brokers do not offer custodian accounts to non-US people and non-US minors. So…. I need to find a workaround. I am considering a US LLC with my children as members and myself as the manager. Do you know if that would work? Or would you recommend using an offshore LLC for this purpose instead?
