Transactions volume has drastically fallen after Indian Government has made 30% tax decision since April 2022 And exchanges make money only when people transact on exchanges or rather trade. So investors who buy and hold for long won't help exchanges make money So unless taxes are reduced there will be liquidity crunch and stories like Vauld keep coming Also very less Indian banks are supporting cryptos yet We all need reduction in taxes and regulation of cryptos as an asset class by SEBI else people's money will remain at risk, Most exchanges are not even registered in India so they have nothing to lose But people ultimately will lose money.

The indian government taxed crypto intentionally so that people could avoid it. There is a lot of money laundering which was happening due to crypto and when you do such activities over dark web, it becomes almost impossible for government to track it. A lot of it is also related to the funding coming in during farmers protest from outside India. My Principal has 30+ years of experience in taxation and industry. He always gets an invitation in all pre-budget sessions which are held with our FM Nirmala Ji. That's how I know it. Government is planning to launch its own version of digital currency so that it could exercise control when required.

@@DM-zb8hw government has excessive control over finances even farmers protest was democratic protest framed in a bad way by the government they can ban bank accounts but not crypto. Crypto Directly or indirectly is ensuring democracy that's why China has banned it, do we want to become like China? Or we want to preserve our democracy while finding a way to track terror financing and closing loopholes in crypto( it can be done but it will take some time and a lot of hardwork which the boomers at the parliament won't coz they're too busy with mandir masjid)

RBI has clearly mentioned not to go ahead with crypto, there are no regulations!! High volatility and many of these exchanges have stopped interacting with customer and customers are unable to withdraw at this moment. This will always happen whenever the markets worldwide will go down or in recession. Better to invest the same amount in our own market where it helps the Indian Economy to stay strong vs Dollar and also less tax in long term investment. A person also reaps a lot of benefit in terms of tax savings, however when investing in Crypto just thinking you will get rich in 5 to 10 years are clearly looking in the wrong direction. Neither it helps the Indian Economy, neither helps from tax perspective.

RBI IS A BANK, crypto was made to keep banks at bay and make a peer to peer system ofcourse RBI is going to cry about it. RBI is indirectly forcing banks to stop UPI and other types of transactions to crypto exchanges so that people lose trust and get back to banking system where banks and government can exploit the common man again. Crypto is a new asset class when it matures it is actually going to help the Indian economy.
