I can see why people might lose interest in spy family since it doesn't have like a crazy story or animation. I personally love it though because it's very easy to watch and especially because it makes me smile like an idiot through every episode.

Agreed!💯 But some people want more (serious) "plot-driven stories." Maybe they thought the series would start "light" and get "darker" and more (dramatically) serious (like a few other series did). Plus, it focuses on several characters instead of a few and some people don't like that type of story telling. Still, there maybe some clues/predictions to the plot even in the "light" and funny stuff, and even the side characters can be important.

Well tbf, it can feel really weird as an adult to know a literal child has a crush on another adult. Like, you understand it's child innocence and there's nothing more to it than a simple childhood infatuation but the show does show Becky as trying to hard to be "mature" and that can raise some red flags as to what she already knows about adult relationships esp since she said Loid was "hot" which isn't how a 6 year old would ever describe anyone unless they already know some things they shouldn't. Plus as adults we know that "crushes" usually means "I'm sexually attracted to this person" so it kinda taints the view of what is likely nothing more than innocence from a child's pov

This scene does show that "Loid" actually does loves Anya as his daughter, and does care and worry about her (he just doesn't realize it). Thing is Anya, since she's a very young child, also doesn't realize it, so it goes over her head, and she's instead worried the whole time that she's gonna be sent back to that orphanage. So she's wondering how did she mess up covering for herself when toys "should" have done the trick. It also doesn't help that both father and daughter seem to think most everyone around them aren't too bright (including each other)!😅 And Anya seem to think she's the smartest person in the world, (But she's a telepath between 3-6 what can we expect. Because the goal is to KNOW what the target intention/planning, not to just kill him (that's Yor job), and it seems kidnapping and torture him for info also wouldn't work(that's Yuri's job). Twilight is all about truth. The man is involved in political party, so he must have had followers if he planned something big, just killing him won't work (plus there's no certainity it's evil) and the man definitely can shut his mouth off even if being tortured. Loid met him once in the manga, he's stoic and Loid almost can't read him

Hm, it seems like, similar to Episode 19, Episode 20 too only covered One Chapter(Chapter 29 at that) while also having a Anime Original Short Story alongside it. Hm, based on these last two Episodes, it seems the 2nd Cour of Season 1 is doing Anime Original Content differently than how the 1st Cour did it, rather than just adding Anime Original Content to Stretch-out a Chapter into a Full Episode, the 2nd Cour of Season 1 (so far) seems to instead just simply add the Anime Original Content as their own little Short Stories to be alongside the Chapter adapted Stories of a Single-Chapter Episode, similar to how they have added adaptations of Short Chapters to be alongside the adaptations of Main Chapters, except that the Short Chapter in this case is Anime Original, While I do personally prefer the Anime Original Content of the 1st Cour, I have to admit that the Anime Original Content in the 2nd Cour so far has been interesting in their own right, certainly has their own level of creativity, i will look forward to see what else they might’ve thought up. Anyway, it seems like this New Arc will start for real next Episode, i will look forward to see how they have covered it.
