Dollar General is placed in the hood and has almost everything you need and costs more than Walmart, but it’s close enough for people to walk to.

Penny items are the things that were discontinued and are actually suppose to be pulled from shelves by employees before they hit a penny. Penny deals will usually be cosmetics, or season items. Once while working there I seen these big nice coats and they were discontinued for whatever reason when someone bought it, it rang up 0.01 rather than the $20.00 on the tag. Immediately had to go and remove the rest off the shelves.
