@@lynabrahamson It really is worth it but make sure you go with the correct intentions and also protection. I went with 10 friends and 3 of them brought “something” home. Along with a lot of stories while we were there. It was an amazing experience as I’ve seen haunted things my entire life. This place has its rules, which are meant to be followed. We encountered people who got injured from not following the rules. Shoved down stairs, or scratches basically. So listen to the rules because they are the spirits rules, not Waverly’s guidelines. Other than that it is well worth it. I went on a 10 person 8pm-4am tour I believe. It was worth the price, they feed you pizzas & coke, and you will be thinking about it for years. I was so excited to see this video because it’s been a few years since I went, and I want to go back. But I do not want to go back and risk being recognized or followed by something dark. It was cool, but my friends had all of their full names recited on the EMP device. It said first middle and last names of everyone, except for me. I think I just had my guard up very high though, and some ancestor help. Make sure you feel comfortable walking into an actual horror movie pretty much. Movies don’t scare me after the experience here. It wasn’t overly scary because there are absolutely spirits you will encounter that are helpful, light, and funny. Yet they are all still carrying immense darkness and you’ll never know one’s intentions. My friend who invited one to touch him, (which you should never do) was followed home by a dark demon that posed as a child who passed away there. It attached to him & effected him for a long time at home, but we got it to go away. Still just be prepared for things like that in the back of your mind. Then it will ALL be exhilarating fun and it really was. Lol I re-read my comment and this sounds so casually intense. Yes go to Waverly Hills Sanatorium.

@@lynabrahamson the biggest heads up are the crawlers. My friend and I thought we saw our buddy coming down the corridor by the outside walls on the 3rd floor. (We just had to sprint there because Big Black was shading out the windows on floor 4, and they instruct you to run when that happens). We said “Ryan, is that you”? Then from walking on two legs very human-like, leaned down with its right arm and began crab crawling toward us on all fours as an all black figure. My friend shrieked and started to run, and it began SPRINTING at me. Before she got away I grabbed her arm and swung her back right next to me and said “Hold your ground” were the rules instructed because it’s a crawler. I called my other friend nearby over because her energy was too afraid, but it was only slowly creeping because I was trying to keep it away from us. As soon as my nearby friend came he and I just locked arms and stared it down, until it stopped. Then we began walking towards it, and cursing it away. It coward away from us, and ran on the outer window wall up to the 4th floor balcony. We only know this because we saw it curl around the frame of the outer window and go up, when someone upstairs got it crawling over a gargoyle on camera and we heard them scream haha. Shit like this is no joke! Other people that ran from the crawlers basically said it disappeared when it got right behind them, and they had a mysterious scratch on their back or legs. I haven’t thought about these experiences in a while so sorry if I’m boring you but I thought you might be interested too lol

The fact it wanted Seth on the fourth floor alone and he was the only one not to go safe call. Most respectful ghost explorations I’ve seen on KZbin in a while. @EploringWithJosh Hey Josh, my great Grandmother worked there in the late stages of the tuberculosis crisis. The Gargoyles were said to “Scare or fend off even spirits that may come and scare the patients of the hospitals” I did a little research aswell and this is quite true. Carving pumpkins for Halloween? Goes back to all hallows eve people would carve pumpkins, squashes and even wood to scare off the even spirits that come with the late autumn. My Grandma still has original building plans and letters from the state begging them to keep building their hospital. Cheers from Canada!

Great video, would of been nice if you asked more questions in the EVP's and the spirit box, maybe befriend the spirits more, be calm and be thankful of their replies etc. and they will open up more, they must get sick of the same old questions and constant visits, I kind of felt bad for them. What was captured was amazing though, can't wait for the next Waverly Hills video.

You should be snapping ALOT of pictures in the different places, just random. If you don't find any ghost images you can always delete them. Try at least at times to put yourself IN the time period of 'back then', chill and listen more. Explain that now time has past and it's such and such year & ask 'them' (whatever sprites might be around) what year is it in their time, can they 'see you'? Ask if there's a message they might want to get across to a friend, loved one. Explain how a simple cammra works, put it where you know a human won't mess with it and say feel free to try to take pictures say of their 'friends' (other ghosts that maybe are hanging out) and ask if there's a way they could have you help them. Ask if they're staying there by choice, have they ever seen a light, are they affraid to go into the light, is someting or 'things' stopping them from finding peace. Sounds crazy ...maybe, but just try it and see what happens. You just might get some good ghost shots and maybe help some sprites to move on. Who knows. Why should sprites seem angry? Wouldn't you be angry if folks popped by always 'demanding' stuff from you? ALSO VERY IMPORTANT, to let them (any sprites that might be around) that they (ghosts) can not follow you home, that if there are any 'nasty' sprites that 'they' have to leave, that you arw a child of God and you are protected by 'Him'. Just saying. I NEVER give 'permission' for sprites to touch me. Of course that doesn't always work. Dah ! ALSO ...try putting a key on a string, hold the string still with the key hanging down and say outloud for a spirit to move the key in circles one way for "yes" & the other way for "no", then there's where you just hold the string still and say out loud that the sprite can move the string the way 'it' wants. The string thing you can try any where not just at a so called 'haunted place' Feel brave? Try doing it in a cemetery or grave yard esp. by a church. Ask did any of them go to that church while a live, do they still attend services there. (Even if you know no one has used the church in years) "GOOD LUCK."

However few can attach to people and go back, or it’s possible that’s their way of escape? I wish I knew how to help, I would go back to do it if I felt comfortable/ professional enough. Great! Waverly was much more spooky before the new owners bought the place. I'm glad they are keeping this place and restoring it. I grew up in Louisville in the 90's and have been in that place many times. Crazy experiences inside there as a teen.
