I went to Third Ave and 165th street to visit several used car dealerships looking to buy a car. I visited several dealerships in that very same area. None of the dealerships sell cars yet they had lots full of them.

This really is a failure of CBP. They should screen almost everything that leaves the country. Also a problem plaguing Toronto and Montreal. Once a car is stolen it takes less than a day for it to be on a container ship bound for West Africa.

Because the punishment for stealing a car is you won’t be prosecuted or go to jail. We need tougher laws so thieves will think hard whether or not they should steal a car. Minimum of 10 years for the 1st offense and it will slow down with thieves stealing cars. The Democrats are very weak with arresting and prosecuting criminals and I’m a lifelong Democrat.

For all this happen the car be stolen day off or 1 day before ships and theres only so few car shippers the thief didn’t just roll into the container and nobody noticed that it was secured tied down its a joke justvlike the cat theft criminals pay the consequences not the yards that buy them to resell

So again they are going after the low levels and not the source crooks. The buyers who ship these cars to Africa and Dubai should be the target. It’s the same as going after the street dealer and allowing these huge drug fields to continue to grow. Makes absolutely no since, unless you’re profiting from the “problem”….🤔 If these crooks have no buyers it will drastically reduce the amount of sellers. When you hear 30 to 80 cars being stolen off of a dealership lot with no alarm activated and the thieves all have keys to these cars, the investigation should be focused on the dealer. Especially now when all car sales have plummeted.

It’s amazing. They wrote a lot to release people back into society. But no one thought they would come back a second time. Personally I believe. If you’re arrested a second time within a year. You’re not released. You’re staying till both cases are resolved. Whether it’s guilty or not guilty whether it goes the trial or there’s a plea deal. You’re not released unless both are resolved and done with. Because when you say three times or four times yeah we got a big problem with our laws.

There is an EASY FIX for this. You have the shipper and 2 witnesses of the Container sign an affidavit of shipment, all 3 be there for the full physical isnpection and if the inspection fails those thiefs go to to jail PERIOD. We'll see how many more cars will be shipped after that. But this will never be done, why? Because the goverment benefits of the economic movement, so they do not want to disturb an economic point... What a disgrace.. Good job USA, you defenitely set the example... and it all goes to the nigerian prince...
