Not a day goes by I don't pick something up. These guys need a little time crawling around in the mangroves picking up garbage. Most of it does not rot for disintegrate or break down. The bottles sink with the next up and the next bunch of bottles that float in break them off leaving very sharp bottoms that will cut up your feet right through your boots. You don't have to display registration numbers when your vessel is USCG registered. Just name and port-of-call. You can be identified by that. Anyone can go online and lookup a USCG registered vessel on the online database. Up until 2018 you could even get owners name etc right off the database. Now they don't display the name. Just boat information.
