certainly, it'd throw apollo off to go against his own boss, but the player's been on phoenix's side since the very beginning, so the twist caused me some major whiplash, along with my stomach dropping as i realised something really bad must've happened if he was defending a crooked politician.

Yeah, I agree with you because Phoenix would only work for clients who he believes are truly innocent. Even though Phoenix’s budget is low, money isn’t a motivation for him, so I was truly intrigued on how Phoenix was forced into defending that stupid politician.

I’m about to get a lot of hate for this, but this theme is overrated. It doesn’t get you pumped to investigate, it just feels tense. That’s not what a core theme is for. Compare this to especially 2001 and 2007 and you’ll see why. I just don’t like this theme.

This does exactly what a core theme should, it’s suspenseful, impactful, and let’s you know that shi is bout to go down. 2001 and 2007 get the job done as well, and 2007’s funk inspired soundtrack made it amazing. But I respect your opinion.
