Most financial channel in YT is loads of crap with copy paste idea from others. This channel is really different. A lot of research and typical Msia, short cut way, to settle things tips. Keep up the good work

Omg this means so much for me and my team. We are far from perfect but we put 100% effort when it comes to research, presentation and content practicality for our audience. All I can say is, thank you soooo sooooo much, we will work even harder to raise the bar for ourselves🥰

Great video as usual team Ziet. You've covered many asset classes on surface and general which is in line with the video target audience: beginners. For real estate, I would like to add the following points; 1. Capital appreciation has a peak as it follows the rise/stagnant in salaries. Lower or stagnant salary, how to sell your property higher? 2. Political stability is the cornerstone of economy and in our real estate obsessed country it's even more important because it attracts foreign FDI to establish presence here. No presence here, no need for jobs here, and no need to rent your property. 3. The laws governing rental is lacking or non-existent. Example, the residential tenancy act that have been debated and debated for years but never saw the light. Do you know how hard is it to evict an errant tenant? Can't even blacklist your errant tenant properly as there's no laws governing it. 4. Illiquid AF. You can't liquidate in the event of emergency. Yea I know those gurus or agents will say it's a long term investment but the question is how long? 10 years? 20 years? 30 years? 5. Young ones, if you're watching this, Ziet team is right to say that you have many more opportunities now than I had back then. Back then I want to invest in US stocks is expensive and very big hassle. Even local stocks requires minimum 1000 units to buy which is not beginner friendly too. However, now, you all have crypto (which i don't know jack about), ETFs, NFTs, P2P, ECF, and so many more alphabets I don't even know what is it. Many roads ahead. Hence, message from Uncle Kenny is to DECIDE YOUR GOAL and choose your roads leading to it. 6. Close to retirement like 40s and if you're starting over, don't ever buy into assets that is hard to liquidate like real estate. Focus on starting a business or learning a new skill to get a new job in different high earning sector. Focus on earnings, that's the key. 7. Real estate you need to deal with many people from agents, lawyers, bankers, contractors and so many more and getting screwed over is normal. If you don't like the hassle of dealing with tenant, you will be in for more surprises after buying your property. 8. Real estate is still bought up a lot by the rich. It is a WEALTH PRESERVATION asset and NOT WEALTH BUILDING due to the nature of it appreciating slowly. 9. Capital appreciation is NOT guaranteed but your LOAN REPAYMENT is. From this statement itself, I would rather buy bank stocks than own real estate. Guaranteed returns is always good. 10. Real estate also follow the fundamental of supply and demand. People have jobs in that location hence the demand for real estate increases and with it rental and price increase. However, with the coming of AI and technology like cloud computing, people can work from anywhere in world and not necessary need to have physical presence. This will affect your real estate prices too. All the best young ones, the future is so exciting with so many new things to learn and make your life easier. Best of all, it's entirely up to you.

When I was a teenager, USD to MYR was 2.5. Purchasing power has dropped a lot in 2 decades!
@ZietInvests8 ай бұрын
Right?!! Even in the last 5 years, MYR has weakened > 15% against USD (~annualised about 3% a year?), that's pretty insane and it's working on the background, people just don't realise it (yet people are happy with 3-5% annual increment)!

Hi Ziet, as you mentioned in the video no one readily teaches financial education in malaysia. I had to learn the stuff you spoke about in this video the hard way over years as I didnt have anyone to teach me. This was way back in the day so I had to resort to US based books. Its amazing how much effort you and your team put in, concise knowledge that is accompanied by beautiful infographics. Thank you so much for a more "Malaysia based" content so that we Malaysians can learn and grow this precious knowledge. I have subscribed, wishing you further success and looking forward to more quality content!

I agree on your take with property investing. Being in Mont Kiara and seeing many properties coming up left, right and centre has gotten a lot of people excited but I still refrain from it because I see stock investing as a safer and surer way of growing my wealth especially since i don’t have much capital to begin with. Another key point is to make sure you find a partner who has the same financial values/goals as you. Very very important this one.
@ZietInvests8 ай бұрын
That's a super valid point on finding a partner that resonates with your goal! They are actually one of the biggest influence in how we use/look at money

Just a tips to share on EPF, if you're managing your parents fund/EPF account. The online account will allow you to withdraw money by filling up the forms online, and the money will probably be credited next working day. **You can actually tumpang their account to store your money.......

Thanks Ziet, for the financial advice. The information is really helpful. Since stocks prices have gone up so much, is it a good time to invest in stocks now? I'm a retiree & thought of diversifying my investment.
@ZietInvests8 ай бұрын
Hi sylee, thank you so much for your nice words. Unfortunately due to regulatory restrictions I'm not at the liberty to answer this question (as it construes financial/investment advice). Put it this way, if I were in your shoe, I would first assess what's important to me: 1. capital preservation or growth? 2. how many dependents do i have? 3. how much i can/cannot risk? 4. what % return (realistically) is good enough for me? I think if you were to sit down and think about these few questions, it will help you formulate the foundation of why you want to invest/preserve capital in the first place. At the end of the day, too little, or too much risk is not a good financial move - all the best! 😊 (p.s never wrong to consult a good financial advisor!)

Hello你好!! I was wondering , have there been people who become millionaires just by investing in S and P 500 ? ( Besides Warren Buffet). I know online finance calculators show that it is possible if we invest like 500usd monthly over 20-30 years kind of thing , but is there real life example of such person whom you can interview ?
@ZietInvests8 ай бұрын
Hi there! Good question there, I do know someone in real life that partly hold S&P 500 as part of their multi-million USD investment portfolio, but interestingly enough he actually prefer individual big US tech stocks more 🤭 Though unfortunately he might not be that open for an interview - but will try to get someone in the similar shoe to do some sharing! Thank you so much for letting me know - this helps our team to search for content that revolves more around this topic

Hi Ziet. Want to get some idea from you is KDI suitable for normal investor? Comparing it with moomoo.
@ZietInvests8 ай бұрын
Hi Brendan, you're looking at it from the perspective of robo-advisor (investing) or their KDI cash? Personally am (already) not a fan of robe-advisor due to their management fees + lack of transparency in how they manage our investments. As for their KDI cash (or money market funds in general, like Versa Cash etc.) - highly highly recommended for high-yield liquid savings purpose. If you put them side by side, for overall investing (DIY) experience & cost wise -> Moomoo should win hands down. (but mindful that they are not of the same category, robos manage your investments, while moomoo requires your own effort)
@Brendan1158 ай бұрын
@@ZietInvests Yes, agreed. The cash saving is actually attractive for short terms invest or emergency funds. For moomoo still looking into how to diversify cause all stocks in it is buy lots. I am still trying to find the US stock that can buy fraction. Not sure you can show me the guide or Malaysia moomoo does not have this selection.
@ZietInvests8 ай бұрын
@@Brendan115 Ahhhh at the moment moomoo Malaysia does not provide fractional shares trading, if that's something you need due to the buying value, i can definitely recommend your Interactive Brokers (still my main broker till today): www.interactivebrokers.com/mkt/?src=zietPY2&url=%2Fen%2Fwhyib%2Foverview.php%3Fnored%3Dt Can also check out this video: kzbin.info/www/bejne/nJDCeZqAh8pmpLcsi=vQ-xffjD7oRuL1mi
