Perfectly on point. Never interrupt the compounding train. That is the reason why I have this quote as a wallpaper at my desktop, it always reminds me to focus on risk first. Even Warren is looking at me on this wallpaper so I dont want to disappoint him :) :). My wife things I am nuts, but hey who cares :)

You are right. We cannot tell the market what you want in returns. Thats command economy. Market tells you what it has to offer. Mr. Gundlach says it usually like "to get xx % return you need to leverage junk bonds".

Hi Sven. Isn´t inflation in US around 7%? That would mean that in 20 years the purchase power of 2m = current purchase power of 500k today? Or are we expecting the inflation to get down? I don´t see how getting a 7% annual return is good investment. Thanks for sharing your ideas!

think like this, if you don't invest, your 500k will be 125k in 20 years... Investing is investing, it will make for inflation, whatever it is, plus the value created!

Hey Sven. Great video as always! I just finished reading your book and it was amazing (also good job with the english since it was 2017, and it really wasnt bad). I was wondering 2 things. 1 thing from the book is what macroeconomic environment you see us having now and in the near future - in accordance with aall weather portfolio (yes its guessing but you can always assign probablilties to scenarios) and 2 When will you make an update on the new developments at Alibaba?
