Another excellent video as always. For people requesting the excel file my recommendation is to make your own notes and files. Use atrad/DirectFN or investing.com to sort companies by share price and then go to CSE website and check the beta values. Unless you do it on your own you will never learn properly. I started investing/trading 2 weeks back. But I watched most of the videos here and other channels for more than 3 months and made my own sheets, calculation formulas and notes. The only thing needed more is patience :)

Dear Investor Think , Question : since FD rates are continuously being brought down , will people begin to see stocks which consistently pay high Dividends as an alternative & thereby drive the stock price up because of buying pressure although it's normal Beta Value is below 1 ? Yes its possible, beta values will not be static and it will also change with market movement, so it's possible to see increases in beta value of stocks if there is buying pressure for a particular stock

Great video. Should we pay brokers commission only when buying and selling,or does the commission add up every week/month? Also I would like to know much commission is charged. For example if we buy 1000 shares at Rs.100 per share how much would the commission be. And usually what is the minimum number of shares we could buy? Thank you

if you buy 1000 @ 100, then the cost is 100,000 and the commission/tax is 1120.(1.12%). So you will be paying total of 101,120. Same for the selling side

Of course you can apply beta theory for all stocks. I did this video because at that time some investors apparently bought without any due consideration given for the risk. So as a tool I used beta👍👍👍
