In this episode of Malevolent, Arthur has been struck down by a cunning and mysterious foe. The Entity within must work to save Arthur's life but it may cost a great deal more than the Entity realized. It is here that the Entity makes it's final stand; to decide once and for all if it wishes to strive for goodness, or... if it should return to what it once was...

***(Minor spoilers for episode end)*** You know what? My favorite Perfectly Cut Scream of all time. Arthur's probably in horrible pain and is having the worse time of his life as always, but that cutaway to trumpets was peak comedy for this podcast

Something about this episode is just masterfully done. The voice acting, the sound design, the story elements that have completely destroyed me. I am shaking after a first listen

I do not comment normally but this is a very impressive video. The storytelling is amazing the way you put the hesitation in the voice is just pure talent and the end is both unique unexpected and beautiful I was so happy at the end the emotional confession then the screaming and BAM happy music. I just… I want to run in circles and flap my hands screaming at the world. This is the best horror I have ever heard. Most others do not interest me. This, this makes me happy.

I love Yorrick, he's been the perfect addition to Arthur and John's brand of insanity. Like John is both very naive and quick tempered, but is compassionate and learning how to be a person and to love. Meanwhile Arthur took the phrase "curiosity killed the cat but satisfaction brought him back" as a personal challenge and has the survival instincts of a mouse infected with t. gondii, but is so deeply human and cares so so much and is learning to see past his own mistakes. In short, they have so many f's to give. And Yorrick has never even heard of an f to give. Zip. Zilch. Nada.

Finally john learns some manipulation that isn't lying badly and going "athur please". Also i expected a lot of ways for john to end this but not that way. Hurray for modern inventions i guess

Glad to see that this episode establishes the trend of John, when temporary without athur: learns medical skills, becomes more human, confronts his feelings before coming to a helpful conclusion, takes out a foe and becomes besties with a skull Athur when temporary without john: gets mentally tortured by the nearest eldritch entity, holds a god hostage, gets into a bloodfeud, antagonises a cult, so many new injuries, releases something evil

Yorick is funky and I love him and his devotion. Arthur will be properly traumatized, I mean, John had a hard time in the dark world, think how hard it would be for Arthur. I'm honestly surprised Kayne didn't show up. He usually does that when Arthur is almost surely dead. John gets his therapy session and swears he will tell Arthur, and that is where I knew, he will most likely never GET to tell him. This was wonderful, thank you, Harlan.
