I don't know if you look anymore yours fantastic videos But I have one question for anybody's reading my post : for the finishing crochet pattern you used 2 sts. and in Amigurumi 2 sts. count a lot! Ohhh sorry for my english (I'm french) but I hope someone could help me... Thanks for All of you Patterns! It's an incredible Job and I'm sorry you stop it!
@andreabolanos88994 жыл бұрын
Well the finish goes over two stitches but only really covers one, and since the finish itself makes the impresion of a stitch on top of the one it's covering you don't diminish the original stitch count. I hope that helps

thank you!!! much appreciated!!

Do you have any pointers on how to finish better in an open piece, like this, but your last round is slip stitch or reverse single crochet, not plain sc? I do basically this for the slip stitch, but I didn't know if there might be a trick or something different I should do. And when doing reverse sc or crab stitch..... I never know how to finish and just wing it which is never to my liking.PS.... love all your tutorials and helpful tips. I go back to them over and over again.

It's exactly the same technique for sl st - in fact, you'll get an even better result because there isn't such a height difference to overcome! As for joining rsc, I'll add that to my list of ideas for future videos! I do have a tutorial on how to make rsc, but the sample is worked flat, so there's no join at the end. This would make a good follow-up :)

Oops, it's *almost* exactly the same for sl st: you can't go through the back bar (as there isn't a back bar in sl st). It'll still work fine; going through the back bar too for sc just helps to keep the duplicate stitch in place while you're weaving in the end.

Thanks. Good to know I've been doing the sl st right. I'd DEFINITELY love a tut on the rsc. I don't use it often, but when I do it just drives me nuts not having a good way to join.

If you turn on the closed captioning and then go to Settings (the gear icon) > Subtitles/CC > Auto-translate > choose your language and the captions will appear in your desired language! (Note: I believe this only works on desktop, not mobile - hopefully KZbin will add the same functionality to KZbin on mobile devices at some point soon.)
