Wow! I have been doing visible mending for a while, now watching you do invisible mending, it is a whole different level of skill required! 🤯

Milli, thank you, thank you! I’ve been trying to figure out how to “ harvest” yarn from a sweater. I was afraid to undo a seam. You showed me it is doable♥️

I love that you're on KZbin, Marlen! This is a valuable resource and I've shared it with Modern Mending Club.

Thank you so much for your support Erin. I think KZbin is the right next step to share more about mending since it’s not so limited like Instagram is. ☺️

So impressed! I don't quite understand how you know where to cut into the side seam, is it the seam or on fabric to harvest, and how you prevent the whole thing from unraveling once you made a cut?

Thank you thank you! This is the video I’ve been waiting for for years!! I see you are harvesting the yarn used to sew the side together, not unraveling the sweater! I can’t wait to try this on a mend I have been sitting on for a looooong time because I could not find suitable matching yarn.

Very nice. I often find the seam yarn not identical (different fiber content), but it’s better than anything you can buy.

I wish I had seen this video years ago. I tried to mend a small hole in my son's cashmere sweater - the look of disappointment at the very visible mend was enough to make me feel miserable at the time.
@milli_and_the_bee Жыл бұрын
I am sorry to hear that. But mending, especially invisible mending is a progress, it gets better by practice. So don’t give up. ☺️ Happy mending.
