Invisible Paths - upgrade your park - OpenRCT2 Tutorial

Has the Wacky World invisible path/scenery glitching been reported as a bug in OpenRCT2? Using flat scenery pieces with invisible path is an intended use case and if one scenery pack is not behaving correctly with rendering layers then it could be addressed and fixed. Marcel Vos has mentioned random bugs in his OpenRCT2 videos and they were repaired pretty quickly; the devs on the project are listening and willing to implement when given a proper report. :)

I’ve never reported this specific bug. I thought it was just poor scenery design. Curious if it’s fixable

Right! Though I must admit I usually avoid them in my parks. The peeps handle a boring rectangular layouts the best.

You should try making stairs using the lift hill from the river rapids under invisible path.

One tip- if you play around with interfering objects on paths- such as fences and walls then use regular paths on those squares and make them invisible through the tile inspector. That way if you play around with it more you can more easily see whats happening

This is true, I know there are workarounds to some issues. For the tutorial I wanted to make it as uncomplicated as possible for those that aren’t quite as skilled

Yeah for sure! I spend too much time trying to fix those glitches with invisible base blocks or tile inspector layering. Sometimes I wonder if I spend more time working around the game’s issues than actually building the fun stuff! 🤣
