Seriously, how much fun was that! Being able to see all the different styles in contrast, and on the bar. And the band was not only swinging, they were rockin' it! One of the more under-stated, but rather nuanced dancers was the chick with the green dress and hot-pink shoes. 3:38. Instead of tight spins, she instead sort of leaps out, feet apart---almost like Parkour swing. Ha. Yet, at different transitions she actually stands on-point. Very original stylings on their part.

That's Laura Glaess, she's one of my all-time faves. I personally think she and Remy were the best on this competition ;)

@@solangepolegar Wow, thanks for the info about her. I'm doing so really fun dance-mixes of Nils & Bianca (overdubbing different songs over their routines and playing with timing and effect). Hope you can check it out when I post. I have feeling they are going to LOVE IT!

Finally a couple has joined Nils and Bianca in being head and shoulders above the rest of the field. Pamela and Tadas looked absolutely excellent out there, I think they deserved a placement of 1st or 2nd. Also Antoine and Coralie have been working hard and it shows.

ILHC is now over Memorial Day Weekend in New York City, which is the last weekend in May. These videos were shot last month.
