It'd be better if he has +HP/-Def IVs since with his low Def, he can manipulate Læraðr's Assign Decoy gimmick and take the Range 2 Decoy and act as a Far Save tank when surrounded by his allies. But if you have him merged, which is fine, he just needs an HP boon since the other boons do not matter for him.

Any stat increases via Great Talent will count towards Xane's copy gimmick, so if you get the max +20 Great Talent, then Xane will copy whatever stats B! Alfonse has plus the +20 Great Talent.

How good is the tempo echo on Xane? I was thinking about putting the null C-disrupt on him and using him as bait for the assign decoy status from tree man

Tempo is a seal, so I rather use that + NCDX than the current HP seal and TempoX

Null- C is probably the better option since tempo is a seal and laguz friend also grants DR piercing on special while making it easier to activate Flare, but Tempo Echo is still a decent option for someone who doesn't have A!Eirika. Especially since the only unit that has it is also the only unit that has Perfect right now. May as well take advantage
