I recently discovered this artist and I can't stop listening. I come from the original new wave days of the 80's and 90's industrial dance scene and he does a great job of keeping up the legacy while still breaking away from pure nostalgia to carve his own path.

Totally agree. I grew up in the 90s but listened to a lot of 80s new wave, I love how he's brought influences of that and made it totally unique and modern.

I am very much a late bloomer when it comes to Trevor but I can honestly say he is one of the greatest synthwave artists to ever make music. The guy has literally put out 12 albums and five eps in a 9-year span. Not a bad song, EP or album. This guy is a genius. You never know what you're going to get from one EP or album to the next but you always know it is going to be absolutely amazing. Trevor you are a legend. I am so glad I discovered your music. I hope eventually you do a boxed set of your CDs or something along those lines. In the meantime I will continue to support you on Bandcamp and KZbin. Thank you for your amazing music and your artistry in pushing the genre to new heights. I hope you keep making music under this moniker or alias or whatever LOL.

actually steve roach made a song that trevor turned into like three songs lol he is extremely talented i had the same idea...lol i just couldnt put it into action having kids getting shot and hit by a drunk drive hit by a boat anchor at work and growing up with two narcissistic abusive drunk parents kinda puts a damper on ur dreams and makes everything that much harder but at least i was pregnant with two half arabic boys that were born so close to 911 i thought well there goes their lives in school yea good stuff good stuff ive got plenty of ammo for my arsenal of musical emotional music to make hehehe..

I'll never forget you. You may not exist. You might be a ghost. But then so am I. I haunt every place I go. I stalk the halls. Walk back to my room. Followed, but everyone says the same thing - "when I followed you back, you weren't there". I believe you and I are the same essence. The same material. The same soul. And it's been two and a half years since I found your music. You're an enigma. Hypnotizing with every song you play. I'm sorry if you've been through the same feelings I have and at times, the absence of feeling, I wouldn't wish it on anyone. But I'm grateful I know you're there now. Even if you are just some sort of persona. ...possibly a shadow of who you feel you were. Well, it may not mean anything to you, but I at least believe that you alone are incredible. How you quietly demand respect and recognition through your sound. It's unbelievable. Everything you make. It's all beautiful. I'll always look forward to hearing from you. I hope you're doing well for yourself. Wherever you are.
@n.38404 жыл бұрын
It's been five years since you released this. I'm here just to say that I appreciate you for creating it. For making all the music you have. This album mesmerizes me to no end. I wanted to leave a note beside it. It's incredible. It haunts me the most, out of all your albums, Death Dream and Ultraparanoia. But Ultraparanoia was released during a traumatic time for me... but I felt it helped me to continue in some way. So I appreciate it the same.
@n.38404 жыл бұрын
Lost Memories (ep) makes me feel something I can't explain. Only when I listen to it. It's like... wistful. The same feeling, at least close to, as when I listen to "No One Knows Your Name". Die With You is kind of crazy, how different it feels to listen to it, the sound is so different. But I still think it's incredible. I think everyone thinks that the Does Not Exist album is pure ecstasy. I'm obligated to agree. It's gold. It's nostalgic, like going through someone remembering a life time, listening to their childhood and then a flashback to present day as someone just living. I don't know. It's surreal for me to listen to. It was the first album I heard of yours. I heard it in the middle of summer and I felt like I was hallucinating or something because "Summer Love", and everything else on there was just golden, I don't even dance. And I couldn't help but kind of groove to it. ...I don't even say "groove". That album is a rabbit hole that pulls me right back in every time I listen to it. I listen to it for hours as I play video games. And for that time, I feel myself disappear, I've lost months to that. Synthetic Love has the same feeling through out. I've lost plenty of time there as well. Just listening while playing. I don't know what to say about most of your albums, but I felt like saying that for those, and like if nothing else... it kind of helps give it the love it deserves. You really are incredible. Thank you for sharing your art. Your soul, whether you believe you have one or not, really is in your music and I resonate with it. So thank you.

I love the progression of Trevor's output, from the catchy (but derivative) '80s synth of Synthetic Love (2014) to the darker, new wave pop of Trevor Something does Not Exist, and finally, Death Dream. It's surely his piece de resistance, masterfully blending together Depeche Mode, early New Order, Soft Cell, and '90s industrial influences into this darkly futuristic, seductive listen that sucks you in from start to finish.
