My Blue Rehbands just now have started to have some of the stitching come apart. I’ve also been using them for 14 years or so now, worth every single penny.

14 years! Talk about build quality!

Besides heavy squat I do lunges, cleans, a lot of different movements work outs. Also I’m 16.5. Idk weather to get xl(15.5-16.5) or xxl(16.5-18). Idk weather to get SBD for different movements or inzer.

Right now, I'm looking at either the Inzers or SBD. I currently have the Anderson knee sleeves, but I was looking for something a little bit stiffer while still being, for the most part, comfortable. I only use my knee sleeves for heavy squatting. Would the Inzers be overkill, or would the SBDs get the job done?

This is a tough one cause it really comes down to personal preference! I am tempted to recommend the Inzers for pure stiffness to get that last 1% out of your squat.

I don't use knee sleeves... but simply because of inertia/laziness. I wear a belt because it feels better on my back at heavy weights, but I've never felt any significant knee strain. When I get to that point, I probably will invest in some sleeves.

The inzer sleeves are such a pain to put on they feel like a workout in themselves. When I wore them for every sqaut session I dreaded putting them on and tried just squatting without sleeves a couple times. I never really felt comfortable. Luckily with the SBDs it's a lot easier to get them on and off. Sleeves definitely aren't necessary, but I really like them

Awesome vid. Ordered SBD yesterday. I had a question. I have a stoic size Small and it feels really tight. My true size is a Medium. Are the Stoic knee sleeves get looser after some time? I mean would the size S become like M after some time? Thanks

Hey thanks for watching! I'd say all the sleeves stretch a bit, but I don't think they stretch all the way to the next size up.

@@BlackBearBarbell Thanks. I actually have one. I wanted to have 2 pair of sleeves: one for competition style heavy lifting, another for regular use. For SBD, I could get L or XL as 38cm knee falls in both sizes. I went with L. For Stoic, I sized down from M to S. Stoic one is very tight. Which one should I have as my regular training sleeve? I still have time to return the Stoic S and get an M. I am a beginner, so don’t have much knowledge like you do.

@@shiropadipto701 Everyone is different, so take this with a grain of salt, but I like using the bigger sleeves as my day to day training sleeves and use another pair for my competitions or for a max attempt in the gym. I don't really like sizing down becuase it adds a layer of uncertainty on competition day (maybe the smaller sleeves will be too tight and throw me off) but I know some people who have great success sizing down. Both the SBD and Stoics are flexible enough that you shouldn't run into much trouble, I wouldn't size down the Inzers!

Can you convince me more that SBD powerlifting sleeves are better than inzers? I've tried A7 rigor mortises as well, and, yeah, I had to roll them halfway down after each set to get the circulation going again, so my legs could rest between the sets. Is it similar with inzers? I've always had the OG SBD knee sleeves for over 6 years, but the thing I hate with them are that when they get really soaked during the workout, they don't help at the hole at all, is the situation better with the new SBDs while they are soaked?

I don't think you can say either is better or worse! The new SBDs are great, but they will never give you the same level of stiffness as the Inzers becuase they aren't designed to. I think the Inzers are still king for an all out 1RM attempt or competition, but SBDs offer more variety and flexibility. You have to ask yourself what you value more!
