IOD Stamps And Moulds - How To Create Beautiful Shabby Chic Pieces - Before And After

Today's video is packed with tips and techniques that will help you create Shabby Chic decor from thrifted items. I'll show you how to use Iron Orchid Designs (IOD) stamps from the latest designs, fresh from the Spring 2024 IOD release! I'll use stamps from the "Veranda" stamp set as well as from my all time favorite IOD stamp "Toile Roses". This tutorial demonstrates how to use IOD ink with the stamps, attractive placement of stamps on the decor, and a before and after look at the pieces. I'll also demonstrate how to use air dry clay with IOD molds to create beautiful scrollwork and design accents to transform boring pieces into dainty Shabby Chic pieces.

Thank you for your sweet comments Vicki! Isn’t Myra the best!? The risers I’m using to help elevate pieces while I paint are actually made just for that. They’re made by Rockler, a woodworking supplier, (I “borrowed” them from hubby). They a bit pricey so I recommend the pyramid risers that Home Depot carries. Thank you for subscribing! ❣️

Maybe just a bit slower. Don't go to real time. Everybody has their own opinion tho. BTW, it's tannins in the wood that can discolor your paint if you don't seal it in.

Just curious why letters and script are all backwards and what was the purpose they were flipped? Love everything… I NEVER find anything when i go flipping. Its always a disappointment. Des Moines is the worst place for goodwill, salvation army. Never a ‘color discount ’ day anymore at either sites. Sooooo expensive…
