if you add chlorine to drinking water and then use vitamin c to remove the chlorine for an experiment and then you use iodometry to test for chlorine is there a way you can still drink the water

No, you're getting yourself in another deal iodimetric method is different. When the reducing agent is I^- you are doing iodometry. When the oxidizing agent is I^2 it's iodimetry. In other words when the analyte is reducing you're doing a iodometric titration. When the analyte is oxidizing you're doing a iodimetric titration. Little late but i hope i helped
