Thank you for answering my questions. I understand the scriptures you showed me. I must admit I am still confused as to why God blessed the seed of Abraham if he wasn't supposed to have multiple wives. Maybe through continued studying I will get an answer.

now to answer your question on marriage when most people get married they dont all ways have a big wedding some go downtown to city hall and go before a judge and the judge does not always have to be a man. lets take jacob for example when he layed with leah there was no ceremony god is looking at our action and what we say.

+James Davis - Perhaps it was that he accepted Sarai's advice instead of waiting on THE MOST HIGH who promised him a child. He went along with the manipulation in an "attempt" to HELP the LORD ALONG. EASY TO SAY...but OBVIOUSLY HE SHOULD HAVE WAITED ON THE LORD! This is why I'd prefer to be a daughter of Rebecca than considered a "Daughter of Sarah" who seems hasty, manipulative and brought another women into her husbands bed. Rebecca manipulated to keep God's word-as he had given her directly while her twins were still in her loins. She manipulated to keep the directive she had been given. Abraham was told something directly! Perhaps should have manipulated to stall when Sarah brought Haggai, oh thanks, but i'll go in to her tomorrow, next week, next month. Next year, next decade, by that time perhaps God's timing would have been brought forth with Sarah. But I don't really know. I always wondered about that.
