* correction 23:45...the lesson that coincides with this is "World History Told By The Prophets". Ironically, this is the lesson Pastor Buie taught today! 🙂

Mark chapter 16 verse 9, Jesus risen the first day of the week, Sunday! So he had to be crucified on Thursday. Thursday night, Friday night and Saturday night. Friday morning, Saturday morning and Sunday morning. Equal 3 nights and 3 mornings! Correct me if I’m wrong.
That is incorrect, the verse you cited is merely stating that Jesus was already risen and this is when he APPEARED to Mary Magdalene. John 20: 1 The first day of the week cometh Mary Magdalene EARLY, when it was YET DARK, unto the sepulchre...The Lord was already gone, risen, not there! Why is this important? It's because biblically the day starts in the evening (reference Genesis ch. 1, "And the evening and the morning were the first day"). Jesus said in John 10:35 ...and the SCRIPTURE CANNOT BE BROKEN;...The book of Daniel is a part of the scriptures (Genesis to Malachi) and he explicitly states in Daniel 9 that Messiah, even Jesus, was going to be killed in the midst (middle) of the week, which is what is called Wednesday. Check out our lessons on the Feast of Tabernacles and the 8th Day Feast, they further explain why Jesus had to rise on the Sabbath day (7th day of the week) and not on Sunday. Peace in Jesus' name. 🙏🏾

Additionally, let's look at an admonition that Peter (the Chief Apostle whom the Lord left the keys of the kingdom to) gave. 2 Peter 1:19 We have also a MORE SURE word of prophecy; whereunto ye do well that ye take heed...Simply speaking, if you get confused about how something is written in the NT, go back and reference the prophets. Again, the scriptures CANNOT be broken. Therefore you can't start your count of the Lord's time in the grave on Thursday, that's NOT the midst or the middle of the week. Peace in Jesus' name. 🙏🏾
