I attend the IOG MEMPHIS Bible study class but always try watch Bro. Buie's Sabbath day lesson as well. These lessons are so edifying. Bro. Buie walks you through the Bible lessons with understanding. I thank the Lord God of Israel in Jesus' name for Bro. Buie and all of the teachers of the Israel of God. Before finding the IOG I prayed to the Father in Jesus' name to send me to a place where his true word is taught... and I've been at the IOG for over five years now. Thank you Father God of Israel in your son Jesus name. Amen!

I need help understanding how Jesus was born without a man when God told Abraham that He would come thru his seed and Matthew chapter one name a list of men that Jesus came thru before He was put into Mary and why Joseph want to put her away privately if he was a just man he did nothing wrong

Jesus Birth On This Wise. The core precepts on Jesus’ near relative lineage are in Matthew's and Luke's descriptions. To appreciate how He was conceived without male intervention no doubt is miraculous in nature. The two scriptural books Luke and Matthew support the promise made to Abraham. All mankind has been blessed by Jesus Christ's birth. You also must understand that Mary and Joseph society gave no space to children being born outside of wedlock although they were betrothed to each other. They had the marriage ceremony to perform. That's why Joseph responded in the manner he did privately. Revisit Luke and see the timelines it gives after the angel explains not only to Zacharias than later to Mary about the birth of their sons. See that Mary was with Elizabeth for three months until John was born. Mary had to be showing signs of her pregnancy by the next time Joseph and she were together. To prevent rushing to judging her. Joseph wanted to be quiet while separating from their engagement. (El-H)
