Thank You for giving me the opportunity to HEAR (and see a Characterization of persona ) in the Greek plays. Their depth and the questions they ask continue to amaze me. Good going. Keep going!

Fine performance by all the main characters. I would love to see this director & cast in a full-length production.

"Genre-bending!" Spot on, Emma Pauly! And what a delightful term! And THAT is Euripides all over. He bends everything. Nothing is safe, nothing is sacrosanct in Euripides' writing implements. Not even religion and certainly none of the genre characteristics. Tragedy consists of a fair amount of comedy, not always blatantly so but always there. His plays run a very slim margin between a tragedy and satire play. Even such plays as "Iphigeneia in Aulis" or "Medea" which scream out the word "tragedy" since they are about children that are caught up in the cross hairs of personal vendettas by adults, even they have their subtle comic moments. There is no Aristotelian "genre" that would keep Euripides fettered within its walls. Euripides never works as a captive of anything, especially genres, or dogmatic definitions of anything; he is far more interested in the agora and those folks, the common folks who move and talk freely within it. All other enclosures to him are like Plato's simile of the Cave. A most enjoyable and enlightening production. Thank you all very much. George Theodoridis
