We are also in Stateroom 8235 on the 21st September going to the Canaries. Have been a little concerned with the negative comments regarding Deck 8. But this looks okay to me, one small concern it appears that you may not get the sun on the balcony because of the overhang above, but I guess that's better than being looked on from above. Anyway we are going and looking forward to our cruise on Iona.This Utube video has certainly been very useful.

Hi, yes you do get access to the priority boarding, which is nice to have! You can then go straight to the suite guest welcome lunch whilst you wait for your room to be ready. Though as it happens, ours was ready the minute we got on board. Sadly we’re back now, but hope you have a great time!

Hi. There are 3 of us staying in the conservatory mini suite. Is the separate bed/pull out sofa in the same room as the main bedroom or in a separate room (i.e. the main lounge area)?

Hi it’s in the same room. The sofa by the wardrobe is a pull out bed. The sofa in the conservatory could be used as a bed but there’s no curtains there and no heating/ air conditioning in that part of the room. I believe the only rooms with a separation are the suites. @@kaipress2881 My 2 pence - it depends if you'd feel uncomfortable sharing a room with a 3rd person or not, with that 3rd person being in the same room as you. Also, if you can afford to upgrade to a room with 2 distinct rooms, then with 3 of you going, it would be worth it if you want that privacy. However, if no one minds using the bathroom when privacy is needed, then I'd save the money and use that on something fun.
