There are many ways to cut borosilicate tube. You can use the thermal crack-off technique as in the video, or the most common methods are to use a wet diamond saw, or use the score and break method! Hope that helps. Cheers D.

Yes this is .33 COE borosilicate tubing... I have used the machine here to cut up to 110mm heavy wall perfectly.

beutiful crack lol ok but what is this like on say 38 / 1.2 ? not happy with when it pops could cause chips nice set up though .

Hi, congratulations, very interesting video. I had not seen this method before. Can you lpease explain what do you do after you heat it up a little bit, (the "cling" it is heard, what do you do in there for the tube to break?)
