Ioniq ev won't start-check brakes problem

Cant start ioniq electric. Brakes problem. Key is not detected eather...starting it with key press on start button.

Ok. I think the problem was settings. In Aux. battery saver setting. It was turned off - by default it should be on. You can find it in User settings mode on the cluster - Other features. Make sure the check box is marked on. Apparently i managed to drain the battery to the level where car goes crazy ;) but still recuperated on its own after a while...

Kat always buy 3 to 4 years old car so you know what’s going on ... and also avoid Hybrid cars ... too expensive and car garages gonna rip you off

On the right side between speedometer and battery charge indicator. You have to use steering wheel controls to access it.

@@danielsenic the "stop vehicle and check brakes" won't go away so I can check the menus. Any way around this?

Hi Thomas... This is full electric version. Now i don't have anymore problems because i've enebled Aux. battery saver function back on. I recommend to go electric if you can ;)

My 12V battery was drained... service replaced it with new one and problems dissapeared...

How old is your Ioniq? Mine is only 2018. Jumped it today and worked started and stopped a few times so hoping starts tomorrow...

@@jacobharoldmiller mine is 2017 and have 101.000km done with it... I bought jump starter power bank and drive it in trunk just in case... because when 12V batt dies or is emptied weird shit starts to happen... and other EVs have same problem 🤨...

same here, but in the dish board, it was telling me something was blocked but I can't read it properly cos I was driving. Don't know what to do now.

@@lucian9236 Ni problema rad pomagam. Avto še zmeraj vozim in je trenutno 132.000km prevoženih. V garanciji je bil menjan samo aktuator zaklepanja ročke za polnenje in pa dodana ozemljitev na motorju. Z avtom ni bilo drugih problemov. Praznenje akumulatorja je očitno problem pri večini električnih vozil zato sem za vsak primer kupil AKU booster in ga imam zraven kita za krpanje gum :) .

Nope... car is epic! 12V battery was almost dead. Got new one everything works like a charm. And also got Zero Point Module in it so now i don't have to charge it anymore... it's self rechargable like Toyota... I just drive it into the sun!
