Totally incorrect. That was a camera close shot of the board with her actual body out of frame, which means it was actually her unpaid worker/boyfriend nobody talks about that wrote the name with one of her thirty identical 500 dollar hoodies on and put that on cam to give the illusion she remembered it longer than it took her to pronounce the first three letters. As you saw from the distant shot, it's literally all just big scribbles.

@@EyeWasBored To be fair, the main reason why a lot of people have confusion over pokemon's currency is due to there being no actual name for what it's called and the pokemon company itself never actually giving a metric of how valuable it's supposed to be. Funnily enough, this is so bad that the manga has referred to the currency as several different names because no one knows what it's supposed to be called.

In all honesty, the fact that in game she wasn't quite like this made me like the character quite a bit. Never talked about donations or being secretly annoyed with people, just seemed like someone that enjoyed entertaining people and was happy to see the view count go up, and still do her gym responsibilities to their fullest. Was even a good sport about losing and hyped the player up quite a bit (unlike some previous gym leaders). Game Freak could have gone for the overused, low hanging fruit about a two faced Internet celeb character, but just made her actually pleasant.
