Poate cel mai căutat obiectiv turistic al Iordaniei, Petra e un loc de care trebuie să te bucuri fără grabă.
Petra este pe jumătate construită, pe jumătate cioplită în stâncă și este înconjurată de munți plini de pasaje și chei.
Este unul dintre cele mai faimoase situri arheologice din lume, unde tradițiile antice orientale se îmbină cu arhitectura elenistică.
