Fun fact: the iPhone 5C can restore to iOS 10.3.4, but there isn't really any difference between that and 10.3.3.

Was not aware! I believe 10.3.4 fixed a GPS bug - one that I assume didn’t affect the 5c? Would this cause GPS to quit working on the 5c? I imagine you have to take a 10.3.4 iPhone 5 IPSW and modify it.

I am very new to iPhone jailbreaking so my question might be dumb, but here goes. From what I understand this does not jailbreak your phone fully? If the device restarts for whatever reason you'll be "jailed" again and have to do the entire process from scratch? It's been almost a year since this video tutorial came out, has the method been updated so that iOS 10.3.3 and 10.3.4 can be fully jailbroken in 2025?

It’s called a semi-untethered jailbreak, but you don’t have to do the process from scratch every time, just re-run the app after a reboot. The app needs to be reinstalled every 7 days due to apple’s stupid limitations. Method still works fine, no untethered jailbreak exists yet.

@@Shadowdrifting I appreciate the encouragement! To elaborate on why it's been so long - honestly, my interest in legacy iOS has just been way down for a while now. It's not gone, it's just lowered. It may come back in the future, we'll see. That's why I've been focusing on vintage tech almost exclusively for the past year - I'm trying to grow that audience here. Regardless, I'd still like to do videos on this topic from time to time. One I'd like to do is an iOS 6 tweaks roundup. I'm just happy that these tutorials have helped so many people over the past few years :D

Hi! I followed all the steps and it doesn't work for me. I just don't get how Zebra works. I have a 4th gen Ipad, and it's still at iOS 10.3.3 after all the steps. Do I need to download some package on the Zebra app ? I would like to use KZbin and Netflix and I don't know what to do. Both apps don't work when downloaded from the appstore. Thanks for your help!

Hi, Jailbreaking itself only unlocks the file system of the device for you access and modify, it just removes Apple’s restrictions. Zebra is a program that allows you to install different programs that take advantage of this new access you have. Things such as themes, apps outside the App Store, app customization, and more. So, it has nothing to do with making KZbin and Netflix work. I doubt the old Netflix app can be made to work again but KZbin might, google and see if there’s a tutorial to fix it that still works. It’s been a while since I’ve tried.

@@3lectr1c I'm having a problem logging in with apple id on my chrome. (On samsung) It wouldn't let me make one because of "Your request could not be completed at this time." So i had to make it on the apple music app. (It succeeded) When I try login on apples website and finish the 2fa part, it gets stuck on the "apple id and privacy" screen. When i hit continue nothing happens. I've heard you need to do it on an ios device and not an android, because Apple is apparently hostile with people trying to log in on androids. So you can help me?

I need more information than “it doesn’t work” to help - what error are you getting? Have you tried googling the error?

You know you can do this wirelessly, and so every few days, I do 5 as I have signed a special Spotify app to my phone, it resigns it. The only limitation is that you need to turn in your computer at least once a week, but so far I have had no issues.
