Brian, this comment isn’t related to the video but I just wanted to let you know that I started learning to code from your courses back in 2019 and built up a really solid foundation and good intuition for clean code. Just two years later I just got an offer to join Google as a software engineer! Thank you so much for your (virtual) mentorship - you have my gratitude.

You are back! Great to see you again, Brian :-) would like to let you know that I managed to find a full-time job as an iOS engineer here in Japan. The company is located in Tokyo, but everyone works fully remote (we live in the northern area of Japan). Your courses and knowledge have helped me a lot on my journey. Hope you will add a new SwiftUI 3.0 course in the near future.

Good to see you back Brian! I know SwiftUI isn't as mature, but now with these updates, do you prefer SwiftUI over UIKit?
@LetsBuildThatApp3 жыл бұрын
I rarely touch UIKit nowadays, so yeah SwiftUI all the way.

Great to see you again Brian. Can you make video about custom navigation Bar View, use for mutiple screen???
@C6Silver3 жыл бұрын
Thanks for the primer on async/await, Brian! One comments is that the "ObservedObject" should be a "StateObject" as it's the initial instantiation of that observable class. Other calls later can be ObervedObject but for memory management that first should be a StateObject. Obviously not critical to a brief tutorial but viewers should get into that habit.
