@@TEXASLOYAL All iPad Pro models support iPadOS 16, so when that releases, yes, you can update. However, iPadOS and iOS are different, so you will not receive iOS on an iPad or vice versa. In short, you can still get updates on your iPad, but not iOS, instead, iPadOS.

For me on a brand new iPhone 13 Pro from an Apple Care swap and on my previous iPhone 13 Pro, I found that iOS 15.6 and 15.7 were far better on battery life even before the so-called "indexing" nonsense. Once I moved to iOS 16 to now 16.0.3, it seems the phone hammers the A15 processor or the wireless chips even when the phone hasn't been in use for hours as the left side of the phone still feels a bit warmer than the rest of the phone. The biggest culprit of battery drain seems to be "Find My" app as every two hours it's pinging something (which hasn't happend on iOS 15 despite the same usage and settings). Then when playing music using Music App with locally stored songs through my Airpods Pro 2nd Gen, the phone gets quite warm even when the screen is off and the battery percentage drops every few minutes or so. It doesn't matter if I have a totally clean install or reset most of my settings. People saying that the phone is "indexing" are a bunch of idiots and Apply sycophants that get in the way of bug fixes as they keep downplaying everything.

Battery’s been heating up a lot since the update yesterday (specially when charging). Noticed this happens when battery charge reaches 80%, then I get a charging notice for the temperature. Using Facebook also heats it up.

Installed 16.1 public release on my iPhone 13 Pro Max. Found a bug where Lock Screen alarm clock widget shows only clock icon but not set time. By the way, worth to mention this is the sleep/wake up routine alarm. Not sure if others face same issue.

I have iPhone 12 Pro & after updating to 16.0.3 I am having problem with my phone’s ear speaker. It started 2 days back when without anything major happening to the phone I stopped hearing sounds from ear speaker. I turned bluetooth off and restarted the phone, it fixed the issue but next day it was back again and this time turning bluetooth off and restarting it doesn’t work I turned ‘hearing aid compatibility’ and it gives faint sound in the ear speaker which is insufficient to make a normal call. But turning the option off makes the ear speaker completely silent. The experience and information on internet suggests it might be a software issue. Is anyone else facing this issue?

This 13 Pro on 15.7 has been stable until today. CarPlay dropped but was recovered by dropping in and out of Airplane mode. They have a hardware issue that they cannot corral. GPS went bizerk today. I started Apple Maps so it would potentially log the constant relocation going on. Airplane mode didn’t help. Maybe 15.7.1 or 16.1 holds a little hope to this multi-year-modem-foibles.

Hello Aaron, the battery is performing wonderfully for me, before holding a WhatsApp call it warmed up a little, now I don’t have heating. I honestly feel that it’s better than beta 5. I still have the failure that when you take the AirPods out of the box the player opens on the lock screen with the last songs I listened to and normally in iOS 15 I could move to the right or left and select the song I wanted without entering the player, that is not working, I can’t move, I already reported it, confirm if the same thing happens to you.

Since updating to iOS 16.0.3 I noticed battery gets hotter than it ever has when charging. I also seem to use a lot more battery life every day, I would have like 40 to 50% of battery life now I'm have 18 to 27 %. I used to go to bed and put my iPhone 12 pro max on charger and it doesn't charge to a 100% when I get up in the morning. Some mornings when get up battery is charged to 52%, 66% and 72%. I sure hope that iOS 16.1 fixes these issues.

I have been charging for the last 4 or 5 days now I went back to charging via the lightening port and charging is back to a 100%. Since using the lightening port to charge my battery usage is also back to normal too.
