I love the offline maps feature. I set the map app to use offline map always because it uses less power and my phone doesn’t get so hot. If I need traffic information I open google maps.

I'm relieved to think that when iOS 17.2 comes out officially, we'll hopefully be able to swap to a more audible default alert sound!!! The recent loss of this is DIRE! Do you think it will work with Apps that are 3rd party and not Apple, importantly for things like WiFi home security camera alerts, video doorbells such as Blink, Ring etc? They might as well not be there since iOS 17!

I was just alerted by a friend about the Journaling app. If you go to settings/Privacy & Security, scroll down to Journaling Suggestions, the Discoverable By Others default setting is On which allows other to detect you are nearby to help prioritize their suggestions. I switched this setting off. I don't use the app but it seems to me to be a possible security issue.
