iOS 18.2 HELPED The iPhone 13

After I install 18.2 to get some of the promised features for the iPhone 16… I’m going to take a break from Apples updates. All they do is screw up the performance or the battery life without adding huge new features. I’m looking forward to a year with no hassles.

Slightly irrelevant, but iOS 17 was a real killer for my iPhone 12 (it took up way to much storage, battery life dropped and I didn’t find the actual updates to be worth it) but iOS 18 actually has some good updates and doesn’t take up anywhere near as much storage as iOS 17. Good on apple, you made a good update for older devices!

I like iOS18 but man on my iPhone 12 it's laggy and battery life kinda sucks... I'm on iOS 18.1. Idk if i should gwt the 18.2 Beta or just stay on 18.1 ?!

@ I’m on iOS 18.1 and it works fine on my phone but personally I would update to iOS 18.2 when it is publicly available, not the beta as it may have bugs

@@BinkBricks Yes brother your right it's still on BETA and may have bugs and hickups. Idk i might just do a full system wipe and upgrade/flash to iOS 18.1.1 and see if it gets better

iOS 17 killed my iPhone 13 display. The day after the update I turned the phone on and encountered the rainbow screen of death ( coincidence maybe ?)

I have 13 mini… it rocks!!!! And that’s the problem… I went to buy the 16 pro! And didn’t see much difference 😂😂!! Waiting for 17pro 256, white. Those damn iPhones never break 😅😅 and iOS always supported 7 years 😮

its actually a lot better on my ip13. been using this for 3months and these past few updates makes my usual batt life is around 4hrs screen time but this 18.2 makes it around 7hrs screen time for me

If you go to AT&T, you buy the Apple 13 Pro. They put you on a two-year plan and before your plans even over your iPhone, can’t do any of the updates. It’s useless. All they do is shuffle stuff around. Same old Apple scam through your phone and one buy a new one over and over. I’m sick of Apple. I’m sick of their updates. I’ll stay right where I am with the 13.

How’s the drain on this update? Ever since 18.1 I’ve been experiencing a significant drain on my 13PM. Earlier I used to get around 1.5 day battery but now it’s less than 12 hours, been a significant drop

I just updated my 16 PM to a beta for the first time since I got it (40 days ago). I hopped on the latest pubic beta available of IOS 18.2. Performance and overall speed is feeling better than the prior IOS 18.1.1 being honest.
