Just in case anybody is interested: The Bias Soundpreset of Richard is only downloadable if you own not only the Celestion Vintage Pack, but you need also the Crunch Preset Pack! (I had to figure that out, but Richards preset was worth that! 😁)

The guitar is connected to the iPad with a Sonic Port guitar interface, but any iOS compatible interface should work.

GREAT VIDEO!! Thank you for the detailed run down. Have your tried the Xtone audio interface? I wonder how it compares to the SonicPort? I use the Xtone. It's very good but at times it "feels" like there's a ever so slight delay. Maybe it's just me. Maybe it's because I know it's a real time audio interface. I have trouble using Enso....mainly because AUM doesn't super clearly show the beat. Unless I play the metronome...I find it hard to solidly feel the exact beat. Perhaps with some of this ambient sounds, it's not as important. I've been looking for a 'beat flasher' plugin/app. My usage it to play a 'bass line' backing track, and loop that, and then play lead on top of it. Have you considered or tried Guitar to MIDI 2 - to take advantage of say true synths?

Thanks. I've used MIDI Guitar quite a bit over the years, it's pretty good. I've never used the Xtone though. And yes for ambient stuff you don't really need to stick to the beat, the tempo can be much more fluid.

hi awesome tutorial! But I can’t download your amp clean and warm from tone cloud, it says there is one block I would not have purchased… But as I have purchased the Celestion vintage IR responses, I don’t know what might be missing? Did you use another purchased component additional to the Celestion cab?

Sorry, unfortunately I don't really remember as I don't use BIAS FX anymore. I've moved on to Overloud TH-U and Nembrini's Cali Reverb. What I would suggest is to download Overloud TH-U, because the free amp that comes with it (Fender Twin) is really nice and has a great tone, and you should be able to achieve something very similar to the Warm and Clean amp I made.

@@RichardYot Oh, wow, why did you skip Bias for Overloud?(I am not that experienced so I really would like to know…) Definitely gonna try that one! Which Soundpacks of the TH-U would you recommend?

@@wellbeing2516 BIAS is a little outdated these days, Overloud and Nembrini sound much nicer to my ears. You can get started with the free packs in Overloud THU, just use the clean Fender that comes stock, it sounds great. If you want to spend money then the Choptones rigs are very good, especially the Fender ones.

Hi. Does this have degrading tape loop function (looped audio getting warmer and warmer, until it fades out completely) like a real frippertronics setup would have? Thank you.

@@RichardYot thanks :) It's adjustable via the Feedback amount in combination with the Dub in Place off. Thank it's in fripper-mode, feeding back into itself, including the tape saturation (which isn't really convincing sounding for me). But nevertheless a cool plugin. Cheers
