@@Poetiicjustice Wireless earphones already existed. Airtags already existed, not in the android ecosystem. But as a standalone product you could use with your computer. But for the rest, you are right. Its apple magic, as a marketing company. For the apple watch, I have to say you are right. Android can't even come close to such a good product. And you are also right the copying goes both ways. And about the ecosystem, thats only when you exclude the ecosystems that only work in China. And as far as I can find Samsung Smart things is older then the apple ecosystem.

The problem with the camera webcam thing is that you need a mac. When Apple adds a feature it only works in their ecosystem but when Android adds a new feature it works with almost everything. Android OS, APK scam(money lost), easier to hack as confirmed by my cybersecurity friends with a well-known company, viruses/malware/spyware, messy & complicated UI, Play Store isn’t as safe, “memory full nonsense”, Apple display from Samsung however the majority of Samsung users I known have cracked screen. I’m a 100% extrovert so I tend to know more people. As a person with marketing experience, I was able to easily download videos/music to upload on SNS via Safari, with no iTunes required for a decade. iPhone once stolen/lost can’t be used, unlike Android OS phones. iPhone tend to be more durable than most Android OS phones, winning bullet tests & many harsh conditions, watch TechRax, or EAP. Android users are delulu, salty, & don’t seem to be happy with their lives that’s why they feel the need to compare and complain. Android users seem to have poor grammar & are unable to spell basic words.

Android is an open source OS for phones, which every single major android brand has built their own set of features, hardware and UI around. You cannot compare it to Apple's iOS and iPadOS (Yes, android is also tablet compatible, so don't forget to include iPadOS). The entire "war" around these two makes absolutely no sense.
@tylersanders2388Ай бұрын
They are different fundamentally, but they are still competing for the same shelf space and competing for your same $1000. Apple is nice because of high integration compatibility in their ecosystem and ease of use. Android is nice because of broader and more advanced hardware options. They also have more freedom to side load and configure the interface I honestly think people don’t know the benefits going in and just buy by flipping a coin. OK. There's android's *built in* features: 1. Macsafe: - 2. Continuity camera - plug your USB cable > notification bar > change usb options > webcam 3. Live activities - Android doesn't have a widget like iPhone, but Android has a "news" section. It can be accessed by simply swiping left once while on the home screen (and in addition, Google sends the most important news for you as a notification) 4. Namedrop - Android has had this feature for 13 years and it's called "android beam" 5. Software update - IOS is exclusive to apple, it is possible for all apple phones to receive the update at the same time. But unlike apple, android is compatible with dozens of devices and is still used in many devices. That is, you have more options on the Android side. In addition, Android devices also receive updates approximately simultaneously (android also promises 7 years of update support to android users) ** In addition, android has many functions such as developer options, multitasking and highly customizable home screen etc. ** By the way, I don't hate iphone, it's just that android is more suitable for daily use and more user friendly for me
@tdrg_Ай бұрын
iOS also has developer options. They don’t appear for normal users tho, you have to connect your device to Xcode (and compile and run an app?) iOS home screen is decently customisable, but it could be better. I like that widgets and icons don’t look out of place and are consistent and don’t cause an eyesore because of the design language inconsistency, something I’ve encountered with Android Also Android Beam is very old and deprecated completely in Android 14. Note: don’t take it as an attack on you personally or any Android user. It’s just an observation I’ve made. I appreciate every constructive comment, Android user or Apple user
@oh-noeАй бұрын
1. Macsafe lmao 2. Continuity camera - while you can use your cable to use the camera as a webcam, the way apple has done it is just a lot more seamless. You only need your device to be nearby and then it's usable. This is something you will notice a lot with many of the "apple only" features. While you have alternatives on android, many of them are not as smooth to use on android as they are on iOS. 3. Live activities - It's basically a lock screen widget, nothing special. However it is not comparable to google news section on android, that place sucks. That is always the first thing I turn off when I get a new phone. 4. Namedrop - Android Beam is not the same as namedrop. Not only is android beam discontinued, it was a general data transferring feature, its successor "Nearby Share" is still just a data transferring feature, it's equivalent is airdrop, not namedrop. Yes you can share contact information through it, just like you can with airdrop, but the point with namedrop, was making it super simple to share contact information ONLY, nothing else. You don't need to tell your phone "I now want to share contact information", you just tap two phones together and you're done. 5. Software updates - You just explained why iOS devices have an advantage, congratulations. The small pool of devices, along with the software and hardware being made by the same company is why apple has such an advantage. However this time when you are saying "android", you're actually just talking about "google pixel" only. All android devices does not get 7 years of support, but the new pixel phones promise 7 years of support. That is a MASSIVE difference.
@elmanbeshirli637Ай бұрын
@@tdrg_ yeah but in android you don't have to use any software you can easily change your developer options. And I still think that android home screen is more customizable because you know you're free to change icons locations and there're a lot of widgets that helps a lot Yeah, android beam is old but that crazy right? You could do it even with the technology of the time but Apple should be congratulated on this because that can be useful And thank you for your note really appreciate that🤝
