Stayed in Capo Bay and the Blue Ivy Hotels, would recommend. Love Protaras.

Had holiday in Silver Sands hotel many moons ago. Met and talked with the owner who was a dentist in Famagusta until forced to flee the Turkish invasion. He also owned other hotels on the island.

I remember this beach with 3 hotels.I still visit cyprus regulary this beach is now an eye sore too many hotels for a reliitavely small beach.

Great video!👍 what drone did you use btw? I’m coming in august. To the Odessa (seen they’ve built a hotel in front) 🤬 is it blocking the view ? Can you sent me some drone footage of it please???? 🙏.

Thank you! I use DJI Mavic 2 Pro. I will make for you some videos of Odessa and others when I come to Protaras again in July may be (I live in Limassol) :)

Wish they wouldn’t spoil these resorts by building these huge hotel blocks. They should have a restriction like they do in parts of Greece where they can’t go higher than two or three storeys. Protaras and the east/south-east coastal area of Cyprus has the longest Summer in the entire Mediterranean.

Yes! I agree with you. They wouldn't. Yes you can swim in Protaras in October and... maybe in the beginning of November what is impossible in Crete, Greece and Italy!

The hotels are empty or completely closed. The crowds on the beaches are Cypriots who are happy to be alone but they don't know anything about Covid. Never ever I would like to be there.
